Friday, June 25, 2010 - Clearly old world- difficult though to place it. complex salty nose of blood, dried herbs, lots of other stuff and funk going on. All with a touch of class that identified this as a good old world. Quite an intellectual exercise. On palate - again complex and with a good grip and high acid that suggested that this is italian. Can be kept for longer, but not so sure about where the nose is going.
