Friday, November 9, 2018 - This was shockingly good stuff! Deep straw with just slight golden tinge; classic tart apple, crisp, floral and slightly honeyed character, some lemon and crushed stone. Some white peach and hints of apricot (from age?) With some almost pungent upper tones from mid-palate onward. Dry extract sort of power and really pretty Chablis-like. Overall, excellent and in a great place right now. Now that "I've cleaned through most of my '06s (some were at death's door), will focus now on my '07s (a very underrated WB year).
