Thursday, November 28, 2013 - Lovely, seductive wine. Very dark color, strong blackberry element in the nose. Quite fragrant. Brambles and spice on the palate; dark fruit on the attack, with some earthy notes on the finish. Just a textboook Petite Sirah, only lacking a bit of depth and lushness on the finish to merit a higher score. But make no mistake - this is good stuff. A bit pricey, but worth it. Highly recommended, and would buy again. Will hold and possibly improve for another five years.
