Sunday, January 29, 2023 - Had it on my 70th. Certainly more youthful at this point in its life than I am in mine. Brittle cork broke in half. No ullage. No leakage. Decanted for 30 minutes and then consumed over the course of 4 hours or so. Deep garnet with really no thinning at the edge. Heavy legs. Nose of deep red fruit; thinking currants. In the mouth, relatively bright and youthful with mostly fruit driven flavor. Long bright moderately tannic fruit driven finish. Lovely bottle, but not mind blowing. Bought it on release.
