Friday, October 14, 2011 - Slow-O 2 hours. Dark ruby core, little sign of age. Lovely nose of cigar wrapper, menthol, sage, black currant and toast. Sublime, full-bodied palate with generous acids to manage the ample, textured fruits. Tannins caress, the finish lingers for 30 seconds, or more. Magnificent and something I imagine that new and old world wine lovers could both agree is very special, and very enjoyable. Drink thru 2028, 13,2% abv, score: A/A+
