Wednesday, January 1, 2014 - Very jammy CdP with some initial heat upon serving. This wine aired out within about an hour and began delivering some delicious and deep fruit flavors along with some earth notes. Beautiful acidity complementing soft tannins. Fruit finish runs over a minute or more. Reminds me of some 2003 CdP's that became very beautiful wines in older age. This wine will be great around 2019.
