Monday, November 20, 2023 - Double decanted one hour before. Strong earthy/herbal, quasi musty bouquet, which I found a bit off-putting although I don't think was due to a wine fault. Medium to light mouthfeel. Dark crimson with limited bricking. Complex interplay of leather, fruit, flowers, but overall balance was a bit off. Interesting wine that was easily identified by several around the table. My first Musar---I was not overly impressed, but remain intrigued to drink better vintages.
