Sunday, July 1, 2018 - Popped and poured to accompany flank steak. Nose of cassis, plum, spiky red flowers, a bit of cedar, earth. Strawberry and red currant fruit on the palate with a lick of sauvage, beef blood, and craggy rock. Nicely acidic with firm tannin. Longer finish of wild red fruit, stone, and iron. Young but very enjoyable.
