Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - Complex nose of roasted coffee and blackberry fruit. Really closed on the palate, showing a hint of dark fruit and dark chocolate......decanted for two hours......a little more expressive on the nose, showing some additional red fruit notes. The palate is a bit more open, but still quite muted, with notes of perfumed red cherry, chalky blackberry and vanilla. This is a bit austere...
