Monday, July 24, 2017 - Similar to last note but slightly better as the barnyard funk is more subdued but still present. But this time on day 2, the wine was more balanced, full and soft, I actually enjoyed the wine a lot more where a very mild funk actually enhanced the finish. I used the Aervana both days and left the Aervana in the bottle overnight instead of using the vacuum cork. I suspect the Aervana helped reduce the funk with the extra surge of oxygen both days. Would rate it 89+ on day 2.
