Sunday, May 21, 2023 - From magnum. Decanted for about 60 min but this started with fairly grippy tannins before getting rounder with more air. Fairly dark garnet to a thin translucent rim. The Merlot is coming through very clearly with notes of plum and dark fruit. Short to medium finish. Solid 2000 which will for sure last another 10 years, even though I liked the 83 recently better.
