Friday, March 13, 2009 - Very pale, almost clear but slight straw-tinge; nose restrained compared to "Kuki" s-b from Malborough (2007) tasted at same time but still classic gooseberry & grass aromas; more gooseberries and nettles on palate but develops in mouth to reveal some passion fruit flavours; not as acidic or sharp as other Marlboroughs; thoroughly pleasant but should compare against Society's own label "Villa Maria" s-b or Wither Hills s-b both at same price) before further purchases.
