Tuesday, April 5, 2016 - Dark ruby in color with the slightest of bricking at the edges, this wine reveals forest floor, Asian spices, black raspberry and minerals on the nose. The mouth feel brings very soft, subtly sweet tannins and earthy mushroom elements. The finish has surprisingly bright acidity given the age of this wine. 13.0% abv.

Purchased for $27US as part of the Berserker Day offering of cellar release directly from the winery, this is about as good of a wine to be made from a difficult vintage. It has plenty of life to it but why wait.
