Wednesday, May 1, 2013 - Cork came out intact (30 year old bottle!), and about a tablespoon of sediment (to be expected). Started cold, the flavours only emerged after the wine was warmed in the glass. Bricking has taken place (could have mistaken it for a Pinot Noir), oak has faded to nicely to give a pleasant woody aroma, blending nicely with the wine, which now exhibits the bouquet of fruit. Finishes with a surprise burst of heat from the alcohol, just slightly harsh in my opinion, but will definitely drink again if available.
