Friday, January 1, 2010 - This was my last bottle and it was in the best shape of all. This was the 4th time I have tasted this wine recently. All of the bottles were reasonably consistent but with subtle variations here and there. The color was a viscous, medium gold. The nose seem a bit more intense and sappy than the last bottle I wrote up. It struck me as similar to the outstanding 1985 Haut Brion Blanc. However the, mouth was just a shade less intense than the last bottle and was certainly not showing the richness of the 1985. A lovely wine but not getting any better.
