Saturday, August 27, 2016 - Opened about 30 minutes before serving. Unsure what to expect given generally solid reviews on CT (although most are a little dated) and the generally tepid pro reviews. Not a lot going on on the nose and at first taste, the flavor profile is muted. From a modest start, the finish just lingers, in a very smooth manner for a long time. Not particularly complex on the palate, but the finish makes the wine a winner. I think the wine has a year or two before potentially fading.
