Saturday, December 8, 2018 - These wines seldom disappoint ! It has a cherry red colour with some pink-brown at the edges. The nose is lovely compote of red cherry, redcurrant, wild strawberry, limestone and hedgerow. The palate has a lovely poise between the red fruits and limestone /mineral elements and a touch of spice on the finish. The wine remains in a lovely plateau phase after years of dormancy like many 96s. Delicious.
