Thursday, June 22, 2017 - Winos' excellent adventure in France; 6/22/2017-6/27/2017 (All over France): Expressive nose displaying decadent but pure and fresh red and a hint of black fruits, crushed raspberry and blackberry, strawberry rhubarb tart, caramel, sweet spices, strong sap and earth. Excellent concentration, nicely layered, crushed strawberry and blackberry driven palate impression, earthy mineral, good acidity, a hint of tannins and a long sweet fruit driven finish. For my palate, this is evolving like the 01. As such, I prefer the nose to the palate. Obviously youthful but incredibly enjoyable.
