Friday, November 17, 2023 - Steve P's btl at our monthly Old Guys Lunch. From the controversial BdM scandal vintage of 2003. Other than a couple '01s I didn't start seriously buying BdM till the 04 vintage. I would have skipped '03 anyway based on its reputation for being overripe. So it was a pleasant surprise to drink this '03 and find it fully in my wheelhouse. And yet not surprising since Steve has a passion for Italian wines. Thanks Steve!
