Thursday, October 11, 2012 - I have a case of the 2006 and decided to try a bottle to gauge its progress. Opened up and decanted for 2hrs prior to tasting. Had a great red fruit nose. On tasting found the wine to be hugely tannic, mouth puckering in fact, but the fruit is there. Im sure this wine will evolve over the years to come and turn into a thing of beauty . Personally I am going to leave the remaining bottles for at least another 3+ years as those tannins are bullying the fruit for now. 95 point wine from 2016
