Sunday, November 20, 2016 - Upon opening and decanting, the wine seemed lighter than expected. However, over the next half hour the wine opened up and put on weight. The nose remained somewhat reticent, but the wine displayed a lovely combination of complex fruit flavors, earthiness and beautiful balance. It was a fine accompaniment to roast chicken. Improved overnight on the vacuvin - indicating a better future ahead in a few more years.
