Decanted an hour into the "Duck"! and followed another 2 hrs. This is a medium bodied wine with more savory notes than fruity ones AND THAT'S OK WITH ME! Just not deep or profoundly complex enough to go higher, score wise tonight. Kirsch and plum, garrigue, kelp, sangre de toro, ferrous and anise notes. TINY bitter note on the finish that brought it down a point or two for me. Decent tannins an acidity. Still has 8+ years.
