Tuesday, June 2, 2020 - Almost forgot these, in my cellar from about 2011. Paired with a "cowboy" beef stew stew and roasted potatoes. PnP, drank over 90 minutes w Val and Charlotte...

Medium purple/ruby, slightly cloudy. Nose of faded cassis, dark berry, minerals. Palate showing plum, dusted blackberry, cedar, coffee. Picked up some secondary notes of blue fruit and tobacco. Medium weight and finish. Tannins resolved.

A bit like the Medoc meets Napa, with a little age on it. Drank well on this evening, elegantly aged. Did better after an hour, would decant if possible.
Well stored bottles probably go for a while but I dont think this improves, would drink over next 5 years
