Wednesday, April 29, 2015 - I like PSTICE's descrption of rock hard and ferrous. I would also add that it's still slightly rustic. This is in an awkward phase at the moment but I think it has balance to go another 10 years as the wine was significantly better after 3+ hours of air. Plenty of fruit and spice from this syrah, especially given that I was drinking it along side a McLaren Vale shiraz. I'm just really pleased to have gotten my hands on half a case...
