Tuesday, February 14, 2017 - Paired with ribeye for Valentine's day dinner at home, decanted and enjoyed over ~2 hours. Excellent bottle - pleasantly surprised with the integrity and concentration of the fruit (dark cherries, raisins, fig), harmonizing beautifully with a chorus of leather, oak, and spice. Terrific, long finish. I found it enjoyable right upon opening but it was especially delicious and well-balanced as the wine opened up considerably an hour in.
