Sunday, May 7, 2023 - Out of a magnum.

Still kicking, quite effortlessly too. Cork in perfect shape, decanted for sediment. Had over almost 6 hours.

Pretty classic. Still plenty of freshness in the fruit showing. Dried rose, tar, mushrooms and a meaty finish as one person noted, I agreed.

As it opened up more fruit and eucalyptus came out and the meatiness went away.

Drank great, lovely to pair with NY Strips, black garlic butter, mushroom duxelle and vegetables. This probably is on a plateau for 5+ years, at least out of a magnum.
