Tuesday, May 4, 2010 - Decanted, not much sediment. Dark purple core with a light rim. I was not detecting much fruit at all on this wine tonight. Plenty of beautiful barrel aromas. There was an earthy minerality on the palate. I found the wine nice and balanced, but uninspiring. Wife thought it was great. Decent for the price point, but would look for it on sale. Would purchase again.
