Friday, November 5, 2010 - The nose on this is big but still undifferentiated. Lots of brambly dark fruit. The palate is thick and structured, with a lot of tight, red fruit, some smoke, cassis, dark cherries, a lot of promise but the flavors wont release, staying tight through the finish. No heat whatsoever, and the velvety, viscous texture is the highlight right now. I think tomorrow this will be a lot better but these need to go to sleep.
