Friday, March 20, 2009 - Pungent on the nose with bright spicy and floral elements over slate and rocky flavours. Aggressive, piercing mineral flavours dominate the palate with some tart citrus pith and grapefruit notes emerging with air. A little austere and ungiving on the midpalate, but finishes clean and long. Quite enjoyable although not up to my expectations.
