Tuesday, August 13, 2013 - Decanted for 1h. Discrete but beautiful nose of black fruit, peat and minerals, very Pauillac, very Latour. On the palate medium bodied with great balance and aromatic depth (cassis, forest floor, spicy pepper and minerals). Highly delicious and drinkable, a bit too lean for a higher score though. This bottle confirms the strong impression it made on a recent vertical. While this is not the most powerful Latour, it is very elegant and aristocratic. Attractive price compared to other vintages. Ready now if decanted for 1-2h.

So according with your helping TN, more Lafite than Latour in this?
I want to hold my only bottle until 2026, what do you think?
    Cheers,

Nevertheless aromatics are unmistakably Latour. Regarding the drinking window, I would not wait 25 years to open this wine. May be 2015-20 is a good window.

Agreed. Latour is always a Latour and definitively shows its hand.
Anyway I want to believe my only bottle can resist until 2026.
Evenmore, also have one Le Forts 01 ready for next 2017.
I will tell you how are they :-)
    Cheers
