Sunday, November 23, 2014 - first bottle from a case. 2 hour decant. i was a little disappointed. more elegant than powerful. the final glass 6 hours later was the best so hopefully some upside potential. will re-visit in a couple of years.

11/24/2014 5:18:00 AM - depends how much you pay for it... disappointment is relative. when a wine consistently scores highly (95 or above for all the major wine critics in this case) and costs over $500... then a 93 in my mind is disappointing. when i unearth a cheaper wine that exceeds my expectations then 93 is excellent.
