Sunday, July 26, 2015 - L.A.W. Tasting: Brunello, Barolo, Super Tuscan, and Bordeaux (LA Hutchinson Cocktail and Grill): Animal hyde, lead pencil nose, with perhaps even the slightest touch of brett on the nose. Palate of pebble, plum, graphite, savory herb, and just a slight hint of green pepper. Very good acid and a persistent plus mineral finish. A wine that is simultaneously pure and nuanced and plenty of life left in it.

So good to read good news as your kind TN is.
Contrary to Burgundy, 2001 B'dx is performing really well at this point in my experience.
Cheers!
