Tuesday, March 23, 2004 - Farmington Wine Class. Dark, opaque purple. Leather, cassis, menthol, perhaps a touch of green pepper on the complex and inviting nose. Soft, open and voluptuous on the palate. Definite notes of caramel and buttered movie popcorn. Bright and balanced with a long beautiful finish. Amazingly open and fruit forward for a young Latour, but possesses good structure for aging.
