Wednesday, September 28, 2016 - I love this wine. Maybe more than just about anything I've ever had. Even using a Coravin, with only glass decanting, this wine is magical. Ethereal nose with fabulous basket of notes including blueberry, graphite, leather, dark berries, and very subtle oak. This, to me, is what a first growth should smell like. The taste matched the aromas and lingered wonderfully. I do not think that further cellaring is required but I am happy that I have additional bottles and can try it again in five and ten years. It should age very gracefully. Still plenty of muscle to hold on to life for decades.
