Saturday, December 9, 2023 - HK Wine Society Annual Dinner 2023 and for me and many others it was the WOTN. This imperial bottle (5L) arrived with the cork propping out of the wax. I should have opened the box to check the contents. Luckily the wine was in pristine condition and not compromised. Aromas of black fruits, fig, cedar, toast vanilla and sweet spice. On the palate, it was a solid medium body fruit-laden wine mixed with jammy fruits, sweet spice, quite low acidity and very smooth tannins giving good structure. Overall a great finish crediting the 94 points. Bravo!
