Sunday, September 27, 2009 - Pop and pour. A fair amount of barnyard on the nose that blew off in a few minutes. Lots of dark fruits, plums, blakcberries and black cherries. Touch of clay on the palate brought an interesting dimension. Would have liked to see a little higher acidity to match the fuit and good tannic finish. Should keep well for a few years but doesnt show cellaring potential.
