Saturday, July 10, 2010 - Extremely dark purple in the glass. With a 1/2 hour decant nose of plums, smoke and dark fruits. On the palate dark fruits and vanilla, full bodied with a nice balance of acidity and smooth tannins. Paired extremely well with grilled skirt steak and chimichuri. Would have scored higher but found the finish tart/green and not worth the $40 bones I paid.
