Saturday, March 13, 2010 - Brian and Karen III (Our House, Avondale, PA): This is one of the rare times when my notes match up with WS. "Dried dark fruit on the nose, verging on date and prune. Full-bodied, with a dense palate of ripe fruit and supersilky tannins. This is a deep and beautiful red, delivering lots of subtle character." I would add that as it opened raspberry and strawberry notes appeared. A very nice and slightly modern brunello. I'll add a few more bottles to what we have if I can find them.
