Saturday, November 16, 2019 - After a recent tasting/note on this I decided to use most of the rest of my bottles for a friend’s engagement party. Slightly bricked, translucent light to medium garnet.Nose is earthy, tart cherry, mushroom. Palate is a little thin but pleasant enough with some richer cherry and some chocolate on the finish. Solid wine, just not that impressive or memorable. Pretty much consistent with the previous, lengthy note. Of the 4 bottles opened, 2 were definitely a touch younger looking and tasting, perhaps warranting a slightly higher rating...90-91?

P.S. The better bottles here were quite a bit more interesting today. One taste I had with blue cheese was really a perfect combination, the flavor of the cheese exploded when you added the wine. Quite interesting and delicious.
