Sunday, July 12, 2020 - Sadly - this lady is on the downside of mature. if you are a fan of very old claret, you'll probably still like this. amber edges. herbs, dried cherries and mature oak on the nose. The palate has very mature dark fruits, a bit thin, with spices and a little forest floor. Short finish, with a layer of acid. An honorable goodbye to what was once a terrific wine. If you have any left, drink up (and have a back-up ready!)
