Saturday, November 25, 2017 - Have had 8 or 9 bottles of this BdM over the last 4 years and this was unfortunately the least convincing showing. Pnp and drank half a bottle over about 1h. Color is starting to show its age with a somewhat dull garnet and first signs of browning towards the rim. More worrying on the palate where the brightness is gone and the fruit appears equally dull with some leather notes joining the herbs already. Still medium tannins. Short finish.
Could have been an irregular bottle but will not wait too long with the remaining ones.
