Sunday, December 26, 2021 - tasting notes here are spot on! Definitely use a vinturi or something else to filter the large amount of sediment, and be prepared to wrestle with the cork. But the wait is well worth it! Bricking evident while pouring/decanting but not so much in the glass. Tons of worn leather & earthy fruit, astringent & acidic, tannins strong but not overwhelming. They've integrated well. Bright perfumey nose offsets the earthier notes nicely. Very complex wine, drinking great right now.
