Thursday, November 8, 2018 - 2018 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium – Kelly, RJ, Justin and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/7/2018-11/11/2018 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): Medium expressive nose displaying very ripe black fruit, blackberry jam, black cherry, caramel, milk chocolate, a hint of stem and earth. Very good concentration, generous but not finely layered black fruit, good acidity and mineral, and a medium to long ripe black fruit driven finish. It lacks the finesse of great Musigny.
