Tuesday, January 2, 2024 - Delicious sweet and simultaneously “damp” nose of Gevrey complexity with tree moss, sous bois, leather, a fleck of bacon fat, truffle/mushroom with a deep sweetness in the form of caramel and red fruit remnants. This has a sultry/ripe character to it that really charms the nose and palate. Boxes above the Gevrey Villages quality with good pampering richness on the initial attack. From G. Vachet.
