Thursday, January 6, 2022 - Wow! Gorgeous. Quite big and rich but not heavy. Tingly tannins and acidity - great structure to balance the abundant fruit. Blind I would have guessed this is Penfolds' RWT, very similar structure and generosity of fruit. Flavours of red cherry, plum and raspberry, accompanied by earthy notes, along with cinnamon, sandal wood and a touch of vanilla. Long and complex. Drinking beautifully now and will go for at least the next 10 years.
