Friday, June 23, 2023 - Dark garnet. Dark berries, black plums, jalapeno chocolate, lilacs, a hint of toasty vanillin oak. Rich and complex fruit on the palate with a wide range of geographies, from a focused grittily tannic but aromatic core to a warm acid spread at the margins, moving into long inviting tannic finish. Medium to high acids, high tannins with a hint of grit on the palate and some smooth integration on the back.
