Wednesday, May 11, 2016 - We've had this bottle in our cellar for years and opened it last night. It is perfect right now. If you have some, it's time to drink!

Mostly Merlot and Sangiovese, with a little Cab added. It was rich with a complex structure, layered flavors. Very interesting; not boring at all. Strong tannins still when we opened it, but smoothed out completely within a half hour. One of those wines that we wish we had more of.
