Tuesday, July 10, 2012 - Pnp. Dark garnet with only slight lightening at the rim. This wine has a very nice balance with some barnyard, scorched earth, a bit of cafe au lait, cedar and dark fruit. The wine has a very soft texture, without being overly polished, and still has some fine tannins on the palate. Medium finish. My first Sociando, and while I cannot detect any of the greeness the producer is known for, it is indeed a very good QPR Bordeaux.
