Wednesday, March 9, 2016 - Not much discolouration, quite dark core. Incredible depth on the nose - dark forest fruit, graphite, liquorice, tobacco, undergrowth, spices... Backward and almost youthful on the palate. Powerful, but ripe tannins, intense dark fruit, great acidity. The balance is wonderful and the finish is very very persistent. A superb bottle and my WOTN. If I had more of these I would wait a couple of more years. 96-98
