Friday, January 12, 2018 - A little more air would have added more to this stunner. Still, it would be impossible not to grasp the power, refinement, purity and length. This is the perfect blend of stoicism, firm tannins and regal fruit and textures. This bottle seemed younger than previous examples. Perhaps as mentioned, more decanting would have added to the experience.

2/1/2018 4:31:00 PM - I think you will be fine with 2-3 hours. It should improve from there, but better to enjoy the improvement than to flatten the wine, IMO. It's really a stunner...
